Kissa Kursi Ka
Project type
Board Game
Kissa Kursi Ka is a political risk board game designed for my first class in Foundation year.
The game intends to bring interest towards the Indian Political system, where each player takes the role of a politician and receives a number of votes. The aim is to gather as many votes as possible. The player with the maximum number of votes is the winner.

The game board itself was based like a monopoly board game but with two paths running along the board. I.e. the upper path that was “good” and a lower path that was “bad” this stems from the fact that in real Indian politics there is always a more corrupt path with bigger profits and larger risks. The same theory applies to these paths. The upper path would have constituencies that do not have as much power but will, however, be safer to travel along. The lower path, on the other hand, would have more powerful constituencies with larger points but also will have higher stakes of risk.
The way this was to be implemented was via the dice. If you roll above 6 you were to use the lower path and below 6 would lead towards the upper path.
